第一節(jié) 基礎(chǔ)寫作（滿分15分）

   下面是一場講座的內(nèi)容簡介，請你用英語寫一篇短文介紹講座的情況。

時間： 上個月

演講者： 健康專家張教授

主題： “久坐傷身”

現(xiàn)狀： 隨著電視電腦的發(fā)展，人們坐著的時間變得越來越長，尤其是辦公室工作者和學(xué)生。

久坐的危害： 使人們頸痛，背痛，肥胖; 增加了患心臟病甚至死亡的風(fēng)險。

專家建議： 要養(yǎng)成健康的生活習(xí)慣，例如：可以步行或騎自行車上學(xué)上班；打電話時站立等等；特別提醒學(xué)生下課時要站起來活動。

只能使用5個句子表達全部內(nèi)容。

第二節(jié)  讀寫任務(wù)（共1小題，滿分25分）

閱讀下面的短文，然后按照要求寫一篇150詞左右的英語短文。

    Robert Freddy was general manager of a large hotel in Ashbury Park, New Jersey. One cold day when he stopped his car at a traffic light, Stephen Pearlman, an out-of-work taxi driver, walked up  to earn some change by washing his windshield(擋風(fēng)玻璃). Like many motorists who try to keep the beggars off, Freddy turned on the wipers to show he wasn’t interested. 

Pearlman put his head close to the window. “Come on, mister. Give me a chance. I need a job.” He said. Something in Stephen Pearlman’s voice moved Robert Freddy. He handed Pearlman a business card and told him to call if he was serious. 

Two days later, 29-year-old Pearlman appeared in the manager’s office of the big hotel. Freddy gave him a job and housing and lent him pocket money while training him.

Today, Pearlman works full time setting up the hotel’s dining halls for business meetings. In the past two years, he has found a flat, married and repaid Freddy’s loans. 

“Mr. Freddy gave me a second chance,” says Pearlman, “And I took advantage of it.”

“It’s the courage and strong belief in his eyes that motivated me to do so. He asked for a chance rather than just money,” Freddy says. “I don’t hand my business card to just anybody. But I’m glad I did in this case.”
